WEEK 1 (First Exercise)

 

After our introduction and lecture, we were given an exercise where we all have to look for 3 looks online and describe them using the elements and principles of fashion design. These are the 3 that I have chosen.

• Unity in colors for blazer, shorts, and boots and the overall look is earth tone

• Straight lines in collar, blazers, and more, making the overall look strong and boxy

• The texture of the material is linen, which is a soft material but is grainy to the touch.

• The designer emphasized the look with a bright pink purse.

•   The headpiece on this look creates a big scale for this whole look.

•   The material has slight transparency, which helps emphasize the details on the fabric.
