WEEK 12 Summary (Fashion Studies)

In week 12, we learned about step number 6 which is range planning, which is things like deciding the numbers of garments, illustrations of flat drawings of every garment, proportions, garment style, technical pack, and manufacturer details. In the range planning board, we have to include details for the manufacturing company to understand, that is why details like Season, Resort/ Cruise capsule collection name, image, descriptions, color, fabric, cost, size, and quantity shouldn't be missed out.




Range & Brand Planning

Arrange plan is one of the most important planning documents for a designer or merchandiser in fashion retail. It acts as a blueprint of a new collection and helps to set the overall direction of the collection. Brand planning is basically to recap of company overview include the mission, vision, and values.
